The exterior of the new Corolla Sedan is made in the same style as the other two versions – hatchback and station wagon. However, the sedan looks more solid and more prestigious. There is no unnecessary sportiness and some aggression in it like in those two. This is due to the unique front part with different bumpers, optics, fenders, hood and relief stern. However, something has been preserved from the previous generation, for example, the wheelbase length is 2700 mm, which makes the sedan still one of the most spacious in the class.

The engine line has also been revised. Of the two gasoline engines 1.3 and 1.6, only the more powerful naturally aspirated 1.6 with 132 hp remains. and 160 Nm. The old 1.4 diesel has finally retired. Now a hybrid consisting of one electric motor (72 hp 163 Nm) and a 1.8 petrol engine (98 hp 142 Nm) will save fuel. The total power of such an installation is 122 hp, and the average consumption should be 3.4 liters per hundred. There are two gearboxes: a 6-speed manual and a proprietary Multidrive S variator.
