Ford Focus – the fourth generation of the model was presented on April 10, 2018 in Germany. In the new generation, the hatchback became larger than its predecessor, received an increased wheelbase and a design in a different concept. The most noticeable differences: the “inverted” radiator grille and the rear pillars without small windows.

The interior of the Ford Focus is nontrivial, but ergonomic and comfortable. The interior and seats are upholstered in fabric and leatherette, other parts are made of durable plastic. The driver’s position is especially emphasized by the shape of the torpedo, which decreases in size from left to right. All vehicle control elements are located around the steering wheel and on it itself. The multimedia zone with a widescreen display and gearbox is a outlined module. All sensors are digital. There is enough space for 5 people including the driver. Seat belts and airbags at each seat are responsible for the safety of human lives.

The European range includes exclusively turbocharged engines: 1.0 liter EcoBoost petrol engines (85, 100 and 125 hp) with the function of shutting off one cylinder at low loads and 1.5 liter (150 and 182 hp) engines, as well as EcoBlue diesel engines with a volume of 1.5 l (95 and 120 hp) and 2.0 l (150 hp). They are combined with a six-speed manual transmission and a new 8-speed automatic transmission, which adapts to driving style and driving conditions.
