Mercedes-Benz EQS

This is already the fourth electric crossover in the Mercedes-Benz model line, and the first one built on the specialized MEA (Modular Electric Architecture) platform – a division for electric vehicles has been developed. In other words, the version of the EQS sedan is more practical.

The dimensions of the crossover are 5125x1959x1718 mm, which is 9 cm shorter, but 3 cm wider and 20 cm higher than the sedan. Stand between the axles – the same 3.21 meters. In the five-seater EQS SUV, the luggage compartment, depending on the configuration of the cabin, holds from 645 to 2100 liters, in the seven-seater – from 565 to 2020 liters.

There are no surprises in terms of equipment and technology – again, the “twin” EQS sedan. That’s why there’s a hyperscreen on the entire front panel, and an Airmatic suspension that allows the car to rise by 1 inch, and a repainted chassis with the ability to turn the rear wheels by 4.5 or 10 degrees. In addition to the Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual driving modes, another one has been added – Offroad.

The EQS SUV will be available in the following modifications: 450+ – one electric motor (360 hp 568 Nm) and 540-671 km power reserve; 450 4Matic – two electric motors (360 hp 800 Nm) і 511-610 km; 580 4Matic – two electric motors (523 hp 858 Nm) and 511-609 km continuously. The range is indicated according to the WLTP cycle.
