Tesla Model 3

Tesla Model 3 is an electric five-seat sedan produced by Tesla. The model was presented on March 31, 2016.

Model 3 is the most compact car in Tesla’s lineup; if the “older” Model S and Model X are positioned as more status, the 3 is an “electric car for the people” – of course, in the American understanding of the cost of such a car. The sedan was developed in order to become the brand’s most mass-produced product.

The car can be purchased with two battery capacities: Standard (60 kWh) or Long Range (75 kWh). In the first case, the car’s mileage on one charge is 346-354 km (according to the EPA cycle), in the second – almost 500 km. In both cases, you can get either a rear-wheel drive version or a version with all-wheel drive. The latter is provided by two motors (one for each axle) with different gear ratios (one is configured for long range, the other for maximum performance).

Acceleration to 100 km/h for Standard Plus takes 6.1 seconds, for Long Range – 4.4 seconds, for Performance – 3.3 seconds. The maximum range varies from 491 km to 602 depending on the version, the maximum speed is from 225 km/h to 261 km/h
